The new open plan creates a free-flowing space between the kitchen, breakfast room, and dining room, and family room. The kitchen ceiling was raised with new collar ties, and skylights were added to let in abundant light. The fixtures and cabinets were replaced with new white wood cabinets, stainless steel appliances, and Carrara marble countertops.
